Check out information on How to Update a Volunteer Lead

When updating a Volunteer lead, you and select from a dropdown list of status options to indicate where the lead currently is in the volunteer engagement cycle.

Below are the definitions / use cases for each option:

  • Follow-up - This could be used if follow-up has been made with the lead and they are in a process of discerning the next best steps to get involved.  Selecting this would place the lead on the "In-Progress" tab.

  • Not Engaged - This could be used if attempts have been made to contact the lead but no connection has been able to be made.  You would select this if further attempts were intended. Selecting this would place the lead on the "In-Progress" tab.

  • Volunteered - This could be used if a volunteer has actually engaged in some kind of volunteer activity with your organization. Selecting this would place the lead on the "Volunteered" tab.

  • No Response - This could be used if attempts to contact the Volunteer have been made but no response from them has led the lead to fall dormant.  Selecting this would place the lead on the "Closed" tab.

  • Just Had Questions - This could be used for a lead you've made contact with, but they only had questions and don't intend on volunteering.  Selecting this would place the lead on the "CLOSED" tab.

  • Not a Good Fit - This could be used for a lead you've made contact with, but have determined they are not a good fit for the volunteer opportunities your organization has.  Selecting this would place the lead on the "CLOSED" tab.

  • Referred - This could be used for a lead you are referring to an organization outside of the Every Child TN network.  Selecting this would place the lead on the "CLOSED" tab.
