You will be able to assign, change assignment, and remove assignment on records to yourself and other portal users from your organization. The feature allows logged in organizations to have visibility of which teammates are working with which leads, and for portal users to be able to filter to just the leads assigned to them if desired.
Instructions on how to claim a lead
From the List View: Claim leads in bulk
- Click on the check box to the left of each record you would like to update in the table.
- If you’d like to update ALL records in the table, click “select all”.
- Click the button “Claim Lead”
- Select the Portal User you would like to assign that lead to (only your organization’s users will show up as options)
- Click “Assign”
From the Lead Details Page: Update individual leads via button
- Click on the lead’s name in the table to access all details for that record
- In the record details view, click the button “Claim Lead”
- Select the Portal User you would like to assign that lead to (only your organization’s users will show up as options)
- Click “Assign”
